Founded by the Logothetis family, the Candlewyck is now proudly owned and operated by Logothetis and Margaritis families. First established in 1952, The Park Diner was situated on Route 17 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As years went by and the need for wider highways was realized, the diner moved to it's current location in 1968 and named it The Candlewyck. The Candlewyck received a major facelift in 1976, with an extension built onto the existing structure.

The Candlewyck has received many accolades and been voted Best Diner 2005 by AOL.

  • It is the stamping ground for the Giants and the Nets.

  • 1991 Venue to an interview with Bill Clinton hosted by Good Morning America.
